  This article from I saiah 42. May the Lord bless through his word. Even though God has chosen Israel as his people, He is the God of the entire world. He has the plan for salvation and blessing for the entire world. God has chosen and called Abraham, But he promised that, you will be a blessing, All peoples on earth will be blessed through you.   In Isaiah chapter 42, God is saying that " I will put my spirit on my servant, he will do justice for the gentiles. It means the God of justice, express his compassion, anger on injustice here. Some of his servants were blind, not given attention to the injustice. So God's word here about his servant with whom God's spirit stayed on..(42:2-4) "He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.
